Today is World Standards Day – a great opportunity to highlight the importance of standards for safety, quality, and comparability. Around the globe, organizations such as ISO, IEC, and ITU ensure that technical rules are harmonized and jointly developed. Only through such international cooperation can products, test procedures, and safety concepts work together seamlessly across borders.
With our measurement technology solutions, we have been contributing for many years to reliably protecting people and equipment – at workplaces as well as in buildings and industrial facilities.
Nearly 30 years ago, GTE Industrieelektronik developed the first force measuring device for doors and gates. This was followed by CoboSafe systems for safe human-robot collaboration, sliding friction measurement devices for floor coverings, and an automated temperature measurement system for fever screening. These systems were created in close cooperation with various institutions, including the Institute for Occupational Safety and Health of the DGUV, German Social Accident Insurance Institutions, and the U.S. Robotic Industries Association (RIA).
Over the years, thousands of our measuring devices have provided a reliable basis for risk assessment and validation of systems and processes. To ensure that measurement results remain reproducible, comparable, and compliant with standards, we continuously calibrate our devices, update the software, and further develop our systems.
With the KMG-T and KMG-VISION.cloud, we are once again setting new benchmarks:
- digital measurement data
- cloud connectivity
- mobile app
- standards-compliant test reports
- customizable templates
