Wireless Communication

D-Set

Door Safety Edge Transmission, or D-SET for short, enables wireless communication between the door leaf and the door control unit using radio technology. It consists of a receiver and at least one transmitter unit that are connected to each other by radio. In many door situations, several safety devices for closing edges or an additional wicket door safety device are required at the same time. Up to six transmitter units can be controlled on one receiver within a radius of about ten meters. One transmitter unit is required for each component. Retrofitting with D-SET is very easy.

Wireless control by radio technology

The receiver is connected to the corresponding ports of the gate control unit. The transmitters are connected to the safety components. A long-life battery guarantees safe operation and easy installation of the transmitter modules. The wear-prone spiral cables become superfluous through the use of D-SET. The wireless radio technology ensures particularly reliable and energy-saving communication between the connected components. It is already providing reliable service in many gate systems. Data is transmitted using AES128 encryption.
