There is good news in our HOTSPOT series: We are introducing the HOTSPOT-Ex infrared fire detector. It replaces the proven ADICOS HOTSPOT-X20 and offers a number of advantages thanks to structural and technical improvements. As with its predecessor, the area of application is ATEX zone 20.

A new generation of sensors is installed in the HOTSPOT-Ex. In addition to the infrared sensors for the thermal imaging camera, a conventional camera is also integrated. This facilitates the alignment and orientation of the device and makes handling much easier. The HOTSPOT-Ex is identical in construction to the ADICOS models HOTSPOT-1000 and HOTSPOT-X22/X2 and therefore offers the same convenience. For example, modern LEDs indicate the operating status instead of the previous signal dome. Overall, the new HOTSPOT-Ex stands for greater user-friendliness and more standardized handling within the ADICOS product family.
