The Who's Who of plant fire departments will meet on September 17 and 18, 2024, for the 26th Symposium of the WFVD (Werkfeuerwehrverband Deutschland e.V.) in Bad Dürkheim, Germany. The lecture program offers numerous highly relevant topics for members of the plant fire departments and experts for operational fire protection.
We are delighted that our ADICOS expert Dr. Jörg Kelleter will be there as a speaker. He will present the research projects BRAWA and Mimose-A and highlight the detection of anomalies for hazard detection using multi-sensor nodes, including their functionality and user interface. The BRAWA and Mimose-A projects, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Action, make a significant contribution to deepening the scientific understanding of early hazard detection, especially in the field of early fire detection. Effective early detection of hazards, be it fires or other risks, can significantly relieve the burden on company fire departments and enable targeted, more efficient operations.
